Offered is a wonderful baseball signed by 11 members of the 1935 New York Giants and Chicago Cubs, including Hall of Famers Mel Ott, Bill Terry, Carl Hubbell and Gaby Hartnett. The Cubs would win 100 games that season, eventually losing to the Detroit Tigers in the World Series. The teams played 22 games that season, but with Carl Hubbell gracing the sweet spot, we can surmise that the ball was most-likely signed during one of the 10 contests at the Polo Grounds. The ball dates to the 1935 season because that was Roy Parmalee's last year with the Giants, and it was Dick Bartell's first year with the team. Furthermore, Larry French's first year with the Cubs was 1935.

Signatures include: Mell Ott (HOF), Carl Hubbell (HOF, sweet spot), Frank Demaree, Rip Collins, Gabby Hartnett (HOF), Roy Parmalee, Larry French, Bill Terry (HOF), Dick Bartell, Charlie Grimm and Charlie Root. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The moderately toned "Amateur League" ball is off-white, but the fountain pen signatures present in the 6-8 range, with HOFers Ott and Hubbell especially dark. Excellent condition.

1935 New York Giants and National League Champion Chicago Cubs Multi-Signed Ball with Hall of Famers Mel Ott, Carl Hubbell, Bill Terry and Gabby Hartnett (11 Signatures)
