The offered "Old Timer" brand "friction toys" were produced in Japan in the 1950s through the 1970s. These friction toys were sold under several Japanese toy maker brand names such as the ones offered here from "Modern Toys," "SSS," "K" and "Line Mar." Each vehicle still sports its original colorfully illustrated box, which are all intact except for the Line Mar 1914 Roadster box, which has separated into several pieces. Each toy presents in working condition (that was a fun test!) and have not been overly used. A wonderful assortment of tougher mid-century Japanese friction toys. Excellent to Mint condition overall, with several toys much nicer, in the Near Mint range, nad the boxes slightly lesser.
