SPORT predated Sports Illustrated by some 8 years, launching in 1946, and published for more than 50 years. The covers are known for the dramatic photography featuring sports stars of the day. The collection includes:
- 1952: 3 issues, covers include Jackie Robinson;
- 1953: 13 issues, covers include Mickey Mantle, Bob Cousy, Rocky Marciano, Roy Campanella;
- 1954: 11 issues, covers include Stan Musial, Duke Snider, Don Newcombe;
- 1955: 10 issues, covers include Rocky Marciano, Yogi Berra, Duke Snider;
- 1956: 11 issues, covers include Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Paul Hornung, Mickey Mantle;
- 1957: 12 issues, covers include Mickey Mantle, Al Kaline, Wilt Chamberlain, Jaques Plante;

The magazines present with moderate to heavy wear, in a few cases, with binding issues and some milde stains. Excellent condition overall, with some lesser.
