Presented here is a wonderful autograph book with 23 signatures from the 1954, 1955 and 1956 Chicago Cubs, including 1954 Rookie sensation Ernie Banks. The autographs were dutifully collected over three seasons by a fan who marked each page for the 1954 players with the their postions. They include, in their order in the book: (1954 season) Randy Jackson, Howie Pollet, Ed Miksis, Bob Talbot, Hank Sauer (1952 NL MVP), Bill Serena, Paul Minner, Vince Lloyd (Cub's radio announcer), Gene Baker, Ernie Banks (rookie), Ed the Cop, Bob Zick, Frank Baumholtz, Warren Hacker, (1955 season) Bob Speake (joined the Cubs in 1955), Jim Davis, Hal Jeffcoat, Harry Chiti, Clyde McCullough, Ed Meksis, Hank Sauer, Sam Jones, Gene Baker, (1956 Season) Solly Drake (his only year with Cubs). The book measures 6 x 4 1/4 inches and presents with some water damage that only affects the first several pages in any serious way. Excellent condition.
