The offered insert movie poster promotes Elvis Presley's very first film, the 1956 classic Love Me Tender. The film was originally entitled The Reno Brothers, but was famously renamed in the wake of the single "Love Me Tender" going to the top of the charts prior to the film's release. While he was already a rising star in the nascent world of rock and roll, he still only warranted third billing behind co-stars Richard Egan and Debra Paget. That would never happen again. Granted, his image, with a guitar no less, does dominate the artwork, and the headline reads "Mr. Rock N Roll in the story he was born to play." The studio knew what they had on their hands.  The poster measures 14 x 36 inches and presents with mild toning overall, with some staining near the bottom. Minor edge wear with one tear at the top, plus pin holes in the corners. Excellent condition.
