The offered LP with 18 radio commercials was produced by Paramount to promote Elvis Presley's 1960 film G.I. Blues. The commercials come in varioius lengths, 60, 30, 20 and 10 seconds, with Side 1 dedicated to “Teen Age Radio Spot Announcements” and Side 2 with two “Soundtrack Spots” and five “Adult Spots.” These “Radio Spot” LPs are very tough to find, as most of them were not archived by radio stations, but simply destroyed after the film's run. This particular LP seems to have been employed at a drive-in, as the phrase “Auto Theatre” is written on the label. Perhaps the commercials would be played to promote the film prior to and while it was playing at the theatre. The disc measures 12 inches in diameter and presents with only minor scuffing and one small chip. Playable condition.
