Comedy icon Lucille Ball has signed the offered on-page agreement in flourishing style. The agreement is with the "CBS Television Network" on March 1, 1966, and references her contract for the upcoming season of The Lucy Show. This show was Lucille Ball's follow-up to I Love Lucy. A significant change in cast and premise for the fourth season, the season just before the one to which this agreement refers, divides the program into two distinct eras; aside from Ball, only Gale Gordon, who joined the program for its second season, remained. The show ran from 1962 through 1968. Any female actor or comedian working today or in the last 50 years owes a debt of gratitude to this Hollywood legend, for both ability and her management of her career. The agreement is matted for framing with a classic image of Lucy from the earlier show. Also accompanying is a fascinating little piece of memorabilia: a sample of her iconic red hair dye! The dye has been daubed on a sheet that reads "Actual Henna Red Hair Dye Acquired from the Estate of Lucille Ball / Limited Edition." It is presented in a large 21 x 22 matte with images of Lucy, Desi, and Fred and Ethyl Mertz (Vivian Vance and William Frawley).
