The 11 x 14 inch photo of the Cubs 1969 "opening day" starting line up has been signed by 11 members of the team. The signatures include, left to right, Willie Smith, Jim Hickman, Randy Hundly, Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Billy Williams, Glen Beckert, Don Young, Don Kessinger, Fergie Jenkins and Phil Regan. It was Willie Smith's dramatic 10th inning walk off home run that seemed to set the tone for this now legendary season, one which burns brightly in the hearts and minds of the Cubs faithful more than 40 years later. The legendary disappointment was somewhat assuaged by the 2016 World Series Championship. This piece is impossible to find with Santo and Smith passed away. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The photo also bares its PSA/DNA sticker, but does not come with its LOA. Near Mint condition.
