Martin (traded to Cubs in March 1970), Phil Regan, Jack Hiatt, Larry Gura, Paul Popovich, Joe Decker, Fergie Jenkins (HOF), Ron Santo (HOF), Milt Pappas, Ken Rudolph, Cleo James, Jim Colborn, Phil Gagliano, Ken Holtzman, Billy Williams (HOF), Ernie Banks (HOF), Don Kesinger. The Northsiders were runners up once again in the National League East in 1970, though not in as dramatic fashion as their late-season collapse the season before.
