In 1956, Elvis Presley Enterprises licensed Elvis' image for hundreds of products, including the original version of the offered medallion. The large piece features Elvis' image and facsimile signature surrounded by the titles of his four biggest hits at the time: "I Want You, I Need You, I Love You", "Don't Be Cruel", " Hound Dog" and "Heartbreak Hotel". The offered version of the medallion was re-struck in 1971 to be sold at souvenir stands at Elvis' concerts a the Las Vegas International Hotel. It is just a bit smaller than the originals, but still impressive in size when worn. The originals have "Elvis Presley Enterprises" legal copy on the reverse--this version is blank. The medallion measures 2 3/4 inches in diameter and presents in pristine Near Mint to Mint condition.
