This complete ''clothes line" style in-store display kit was created by Capitol Records to promote the 1977 release of The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl. The kit includes 20 separate fold-over album cover-sized hangers, plus the instructions and the actual original spool of line. Capitol didn't just use the display to promote the long-awaited release of a Beatles live album, they also took the opportunity to remind record buyers of the Band's entire catalog AND the solo releases of the four members. The Beatles' titles featured include Beatles for Sale, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Rock 'n' Roll Music, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, HELP!, Abbey Road, Hey Jude and The White Album. The solo and other band albums featured include: Band on the Run (Wings), Wings Across America, Wings at the Speed of Sound, Imagine (Lennon), Shaved Fish (Lennon), Blast From Your Past (Ringo), Goodnight Vienna (Ringo), Extra Texture (Harrison) and The Best of George Harrison. It took Capitol 13 years to release Hollywood Bowl, but the made up for lost time when it came to this merchandising wonder! Each album hanger artwork measures 12 x 24 inches and the kit presents in unused, MINT condition.
