The offered group of four medium format film contact sheets emanate from the studio of noted baseball photographer George Woodruff and capture Ted Williams in 24 different shots in the late 1950's. Ted swings and poses for Woodruff, giving us a small taste of that perfect swing he employed during is Hall of Fame career. He is still the last Major League player to hit .400 for a season, which he did in 1941. The larger two sheets measure 8 x 10 inches, and the smaller sheets measure 5 x 8 inches. All four present with minimal wear, and all maintain strong original gloss finish. Three are stamped "BY GEORGE WOODRUFF BOSTON." Near Mint condition overall.
