The offered charm was given to actress Annette Funicello as a thank you from Buena Vista (Disney) for all her hard work on the media tour to support the opening of her 1961 feature film, Babes in Toyland. The charm is engraved on the reverse “To Annette from Buena Vista In Appreciation Babes in Toyland Tour Nov. 1961”. The charm was sold in her 2015 Estate Sale to benefit The Annette Funicello Research Fund for Neurological Diseases and is accompanied by the COA from that sale. The charm measures 1 ½ inches in diameter, weighs 15.4 grams and presents with moderate wear and scuffing from use. Excellent to Mint condition.
