This group of eight 35 MM color negatives are from noted baseball photographer George Woodruff. Based on the Kodak slide mount this photo is from 1950 to 1955. Three of the photos capture Ted in his true element, with a huge fish on the hook in his boat. Three of the other images are taken by Woodruff during pre-game batting practice at Fenway park and show Williams and another player in the dugout and waiting their turn in the cage. The final two are taken from the outfield during a hit to right and showing Williams crossing the plate after hitting a home run! Williams missed most of the 1952 and 1953 seasons serving the military, but he came back with a vengeance in '54 and '55, batting .345 and .356. Near Mint condition.
