Elvis Presley Owned Shoe Brush – Gifted to Charlie Hodge – Former Mike Moon Collection

Offered is Elvis Presley's shoe brush, gifted to his close friend Charlie Hodge. The accompanying Certificate of Authenticity from Mike L. Moon Investments reads: “This is to certify that this wooden shoe brush was purchased by Mike L. Moon from Charlie Hodge in the early 1980's. Mr. Hodge stated that the shoe brush was Elvis Presley's personal item that was kept in a trunk with other toiletry items used on Mr. Presley's last tour.” The brush is accompanied by a modern print of an image showing the brush on display at Mike Moon's museum. This brush was in Mike's museum for nearly 40 years before it was purchased with many other items in 2018. On one side of the brush is printed “Made in England,” and on the other is printed “37E.” The shoe brush measures 7 ½ x 1 ¾ inches and presents with moderate to heavy wear from use. Excellent condition.
