No matter who it was pictured with Elvis in the 1950s, if it was a girl she was going to listed as his "girlfriend" whether she was or not. But who's kidding, who, they all were! The offered news service photo capture Elvis with Jailhouse Rock co-star Anne Neyland looking at the film's script on set. The caption in the photo reads “6/6/57-Hollywood: Singer Elvis Presley gives his new girl-friend, Southern born Anne Neyland, a few tips on her role in MGM's 'Jailhouse Rock'. The film marks Mis Neyland's debut on her long term contract with this studio. A resident of Dallas she became 'Miss Texas' and a highly popular model and is now seeing a lot of Elvis.” On the reverse is written “Elvis Presley & Anne Neyland 12/58 80847.” The date is most-likely a reference to a later date when the photo was used for publication. The photo measures 7 x 9 inches. The photo presents with only minor wear, with a few creases near the edges and corners, and minor crazing to the surface. Excellent to Mint condition.
