Travel like The King with the offered garment bag owned by Elvis Presley. This bag would have seen heavy use during Elvis' concert tours of the 1970s, before he gave the bag to a dear friend. Still attached is the original lock, but unfortunately Elvis still has the key! The bag was gifted to Ed Hill, member of The Stamps Quartette, during the famous “Jungle Room Sessions” in 1976, where Elvis had a recording session in his living room at Graceland. During these multi-day sessions, Elvis famously brought several musicians and friends up to his bedroom and gave them all sorts of clothing and personal effects. The offered bag was acquired by Ed Hill during these sessions, and he later sold a large quantity of the clothing and personal effects he received during the sessions to Mike Moon. Included are a copy of the original sales record when Ed Hill sold the robe, among other items, to Mike Moon on March 21, 1982. The garment bag measures 48 x 23 inches and presents with expected moderate wear and some mild stains, but has no damage. Excellent to Mint condition.
