Offered is a wonderful example of Elvis Presley's relentless generosity to the friends that encircled his life. This personal wardrobe scarf was given to wife of Sonny West, Judy West. The copy of the original 1981 "Certificate of Authenticity" from when Sonny sold a number of items to uber-collector and museum owner Mike Moon reads  "Elvis gave these two scarves from his personal wardrobe to Judy (Mrs. Sonny) Westin 1972 to wear with her different outfits, while the West's were living at 144 Monovale, Beverly Hills, California with him." The late 1960's and early 1970s were a period when Elvis can often be seen donning scarves of this style in his personal life. This scarf remained in the Elvis Presley Museum for more than 35 years before being sold in recent years. The scarf is made of polyester. The white scarf measures 35 x 33 inche and presents with moderate to heavy wear, with tears, separations and a number of stains and overall slight toning (Very Good to Excellent condition).
