Cooper was really the only actor considered for the role, as Samuel Goldwyn and Director Sam Wood recognized Cooper's quiet dignity as essential to portraying the legendary Gehrig. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The autograph book page measures 3 ½ by 2 ½ inches, and the display measures 11 x 16 inches.
