Offered is a very interesting group of 12 unpublished 1963 photographs of The Beach Boys on stage at a concert sponsored by "KLIV 1590" radio in San Jose, California. The band was  formed in Hawthorne, California in 1961. The group's original lineup consisted of brothers Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine, and they are all seen in these photographs. By the time of this concert, The Beach Boys were already making hits, with "Surfin' U.S.A.", "Surfer Girl" and "Little Deuce Coupe" already in the charts. Eleven of the period prints (all on period Kodak paper) measures 5 x 3 1/2 inches , and one has been printed at 7 x 5 inches. Two of the photos feature other bands that were on the bill that night. Absolutely MINT condition.
