Offered is an ornate monogrammed letter opener owned by the great Humphrey Bogart. Imagine the amount of mail an actor as huge a star as Bogart would get! The piece was acquired by a Hollywood stagehand, Bill Wilt, from legendary makeup artist Gordon Bau, who was also a collector movie memorabilia. A letter from Mr. Wilt's daughter accompanies. The letter opener measures 9 ¾ inches and presents with signs of heavy use. Excellent condition.
