Offered is Leonardo DiCaprio's prison uniform from the 2002 film Catch Me if You Can. In the film, DiCaprio plays master counterfeiter Frank Abagnale, Jr., a legend in the anals of the FBI. During the years-long story about his life and crimes, Abagnale ends up in France's Perignon Prison after being captured by FBI Agent Carl Hanraty, played by Tom Hanks. There are two scenes when DiCaprio is wearing the standard issue, heavily worn prison uniform, when Agent Hanraty questions him in his cell and when he attempts one final escape prior to extradition to the United States. The offered shirt, pants and wool socks emanate from the production of the film, and the costume still maintains its original production tags. The costume is accompanied by a detailed letter of authenticity from The Golden Closet, which reads:

A prison uniform worn by Leonardo DeCaprio as the character "Frank Abagnale, Jr.,"in the 2002 motion picture Catch Me if You Can. The prison uniform consists of a grey prison work shirt, grey button fly pants and tan wool socks. The costume is hand distressed to look tattered and worn due to years spent in prison. Attached are three production costume hold tags attached with various production information hand written. DiCaprio can be seen wearing this outfit when he is extradited from a French prison back to the U.S. under the careful watch of FBI agent Carl Hanratty portrayed by Tom Hanks. Catch Me if You Can starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Christopher Walken, Martin Sheen, Natalie Baye, Amy Adams and James Brolin, was nominated for two Academy Awards and a Golden Globe Award for DiCaprio. Costume designed by Mary Zophres.

The letter is signed by The Golden Closet CEO Breanna Livie. Their LOAs are some of the most respected in the world of entertainment wardrobe, costumes and props. Starting in the the late 1940s, her grandfather, Charles James, worked as a costumer for the major studios for over 40 years. After many of the studios disbanded and sold off their costume and wardrobe departments in the 1970s, James and Breanna's father, James Livie, formed Costume Rentals Corporation, one of the first independent movie costume companies. And in 1990, James Livie formed Eastern Costume Company. In 1996, having gained her own extensive experience and familiarity with wardrobe and prop departments through her family, Breanna founded The Golden Closet.

The original production tags are included with prison uniform. They read:
