"Mr. Showmanship" himself, Liberace, has signed both the offered 1983 MGM Grand Las Vegas show program and the 1976 hardbound copy of his autobiography, The Things I Love. The book was signed at a 1977 fan event, and in the flyleaf there are three snapshots of the entertainer signing the book. It is signed "Liberace LOVE! 1977." The show program is for "The Liberace Show" at the Las Vegas MGM Grand Casino. The program is signed "Love Liberace 1983." The dust jacket of the offered book reads in part "Within a few short years, Wladzin Valentino Liberace sprang from his musical youth in West Allis, Wisconsin, to become one of America's first television matinee idols and perhaps the most successful nightclub performer in the history of show business." Aptly put. Both pieces are accompanied by a COA from Beckett Authentic. The program measures 9 x 13 3/8 inches, and the book measures 9 1/2 x 11 inches. Both pieces show moderate wear.
