The offered Grand Prix style chrome sunglasses were owned by Elvis Presley and are adorned with 14K white gold "TCB" on the arms and 14K white gold "EP" on the bridge. The glasses, that are missing their lenses, were part of Jimmy Velvet's Elvis Presley Museum, and were sold as a private sale after the famous Butterfield & Butterfield Elvis Presley Memorabilia Auction in October 1995, which featured Jimmy Velvet's collection. A copy of the November 20, 1995, invoice is included and it lists the glasses as "ELVIS PRESLEY CHROME AVIATOR EP/TCB SUNGLASSES." Also included is the Elvis Presley Museum Certificate of Authenticity for the glasses provided for the Butterfield sale by Jimmy Velvet. It lists them as "Grand Prix Eyeglass Frames Belonging to Elvis Presley." Elvis can be seen wearing these Grand Prix style of his iconic "TCB" sunglasses in the photos presented here. A more streamlined look that the Neostyle "TCB" sunglasses, we're sure Elvis had a tough time deciding which version he liked best! Both arms sport a white gold "TCB" while the bridge on the front has a large "EP." On the reverse of the "EP" is stamped "14K." On the right arm covering is printed "FRANCE," and there are a number of small tooth marks made when the glasses would have been held in someone's mouth. The glasses measure 6 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches in length. They present with moderate to heavy wear but remain without damage. Near Mint condition.
