Offered is an incredibly detailed life-sized "life mask" display of Michael Dorn as Worf from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The show originally aired from September 28, 1987 to May 23, 1994 in syndication, spanning 178 episodes over seven seasons, and Dorn's character also appeared in seasons four through seven of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as well as the feature films Star Trek Generations (1994), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998), and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002).
The presented display piece is a detailed recreation of the meticulous makeup work of legendary makeup artist Michael Westmore and his crew on the Star Trek franchise. Worf is a Klingon, and the characteristic cranial ridges dominate the skull. The bust is dressed in a recreation of the Star Fleet uniform Dorn would have donned during the series and films. The life-sized bust measures 18 x 22 inches and presents in Near Mint condition.
