Offered is a Mickey Mantle 8 x 10 Inch photograph printed by from the original negative which resides in The Baseball Hall of Fame. The photograph was printed for our consignor in the 1990s while he was working on projects for The Baseball Hall of Fame. The "rights" sticker on the back states that "This photo is from the National Library & Archive photo collection." The photograph captures Mantle finishing a violent swing from the left side of the plate, and based on the background this was most likely the Yankees spring training facility in St. Petersburg, Florida, which they used from 1952 until 1961. Accompanying the photo are a copy of a November 5, 1997, letter on Baseball Hall of Fame letterhead from the time our consignor worked for them, as well as a business card for The Hall's Staff Photographer at the time, Milo Stewart. The photograph measures 8 x 10 inches and presents in Near Mint condition.
