Everybody, and we mean everybody, wanted to meet Elvis. The offered pair of large format negatives give testimony to that fact. They show Elvis Presley meeting and signing autographs for five Catholic nuns. These images are said to be on the set of Viva Las Vegas during filming in 1963. The processing date is printed along the edge of the film with some other information: “AUG 1 63 PROC 1812 BELL.” This date does indeed correspond with when Elvis was at MGM studios finishing filming for Viva. Photos from this meeting have been seen, but to our knowledge these particular two images have not. The negatives are Kodak T-Max 400 sheet film, based on the notches on the edge. Film of this size would have been shot in a professional-grade large format camera, most-likely by a news service photographer. The negatives measure 4 x 5 inches and present in very clean, Near Mint condition. Amen.

Pair of 1963 4 x 5 Inch Negatives of Elvis Presley on the Set of Viva Las Vegas Meeting and Signing Autographs for a Group of Nuns!
