Peter Max Signed Poster for The Band's 1993 LP Jericho - Featuring Max's Painting of "Big Pink"

Offered is Rhino Records poster for The Band's 1993 LP Jericho that has been signed by the artist Peter Max. The album's cover features  a painting by Max of the "Big Pink" house in West Saugerties, New York, where Bob Dylan and the Band recorded music during the mid to late 1960s. The albums The Basement Tapes (Dylan) and Music from Big Pink (The Band) both originated from the music created in this house. The painting on the offered poster depicts the same view of the house as in the photograph on the back of Music from Big Pink. Max has signed the poster "For Bob - MAX 93." The signed poster is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The poster measures 24 1/2 x 32 1/2 inches and is matted for framing and will be shipped flat. The poster is mounted on backing board. Apparent Near Mint condition.
