Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall has signed this copy of his 1990 biography by Lisa Aldred, Thurgood Marshall. Marshall was lawyer and civil rights activist who served as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from October 1967 until October 1991. Marshall was the Court's first African-American justice. Prior to his judicial service, he successfully argued several cases before the Supreme Court, including Brown v. Board of Education. The offered book was targeting the young adult/teen reader, and it measures 7 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches. The signature is pre-certified by Beckett Authentic. The book has some wear to the binding, minor cover paper loss (where the library sticker was removed) and scuffing and scratches. Excellent condition.
