Offered is a vintage 1967 NBC TV-issued news service photo signed by William Shatner. In the photo, Shatner is portraying Captain James T. Kirk of the U.S.S. Enterprise from the classic series Star Trek. He is wrapped in a struggle with actor Robert Brown portraying the character "Lazarus" from the episode "The Alternative Factor". The paper caption is still intact on the reverse, and it oddly still lists actor "John Drew Barrymore" as playing Lazarus. Barrymore was indeed cast as Lazarus, but his inability to show up on time and unprofessional behavior on set got him fired. The caption is dated "1/6/67" during the week the episode first aired. Accompanied by a COA from Beckett Authentication. The photo measures 7 1/4 x 9 inches and presents in Near Mint condition.
