Offered is a glamour shot of Mary Pickford, one of the founders of United Artists movie studio . The studio-issued promotional photo dates from the 1920s and features a facsimile signature. Pickford was known as "Queen of the Movies" during her career, and her contributions to the film industry cannot be overstated. She was a founding member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, founded two movie studios and she wrote and produced many of the films in which she starred.
