1953 "Elvis Aaron Presley" Gold Foil Stamped Holy Bible

Offered is Elvis Presley's personalized Holy Bible with gold foil stamp on the leather cover that reads "Elvis Aaron Presley." This 1953 edition Bible would have been with Elvis at Graceland for most of his life--several pages in Genesis and Isaiah have been earmarked. The book was eventually given by Vernon Presley to Elvis' cousin Patsy Presley, who worked in the offices at Graceland for many years. The book was eventually purchased from Patsy by noted collector Tom Salva. Tom bought a good number of items from Patsy in the early days of Elvis collecting in the 1980s. His signed letter of authenticity accompanies, along with a copy of a letter from Patsy to Tom describing other items she sold him. The Bible was published in 1953 by Thomas Nelson & Sons, and measures 5 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches. The cover shows a center fold, indication repeated use, and the edges and binding also show wear. Excellent condition.
