1959 Wild in the Country Original “REVISED FINAL” Script for Elvis Presley’s Film

Offered is a 1959 <em>Wild in the Country</em> Original “REVISED FINAL” Script for Elvis Presley's 1961 film Wild in the Country. The red cover of the script is dated "December 10, 1959". It is stamped along the bottom “Property of Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation.” In this film, released by 20th Century Fox in June 1961, Elvis plays Glenn Tyler, a troubled man from a dysfunctional family who tries sorting out his life by pursuing a literary career. Despite being a dramatic role and one that demonstrated Elvis’ serious acting talent, 20th Century Fox insisted on including four songs in the film. The script measures 11 by 8 1/2 inches and shows wear from office handling and has a ring from a drink being put down on it (!) but remains intact. Excellent to Mint condition.
