Offered is a high-grade handbill for the first major concert of Bob Dylan's career, at Town Hall in New York City on Friday, April 12, 1963. It's hard to overstate the importance of this Dylan piece. This was the first MAJOR show of Dylan's career. He had played Carnegie Hall the year before, but only as part of the "Hootenanny" wit Pete Seeger and others--he headlines the Town Hall show. The handbill features a large photo of Dylan, show details and pull-quotes from recent reviews: "He's so goddam real, it's unbelievable" "One of the most compelling blues singers ever recorded." "The very best of the newest generations of citybillies." Measures 7 3/4 x 10 inches. Near Mint to Mint condition.
