Offered is a 1963 “Radio Recorders" 78 RPM Acetate of "Viva Las Vegas" the Title Track to Elvis Presley's 1964 Film. Viva Las Vegas is considered by many to be one of Elvis' best films, highlighted by legendary songs and a natural chemistry between its two stars, Elvis and Ann-Margret. The fast-paced, adventurous plot of the film and the upbeat soundtrack makes for a fun ride for the audience. Fifteen songs were recorded for the film with only nine used in the movie and only six issued as singles. The offered 78 RPM acetate includes the title track and one other song on the reverse, both recorded on "7-10-1963". Their labels read:

#2004 take 7
"Viva Las Vegas" time 2:24; and

#2008 take 9
"The Climb" time 2:37.

The acetate has the yellow Radio Recorders label that contains the above typed information on the respective sides and measures 10 inches in diameter. This acetate is accompanied by a copy of the letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated when a larger group was sold at auction. Presents with minor surface scuffing and scratches. The labels exhibit signs of wear and discoloration from use and age. Excellent condition.
