Offered is one of the rarest Elvis Presley records, a 1968 MONO version of his Speedway soundtrack. Speedway was the last Elvis album issued simultaneously on the "Monaural" label and "Stereo" labels, and it is also the FINAL MONO release by Elvis on RCA Records. This record was so elusive it wasn’t documented to exist in a 1976 Elvis Presley discography. “… as far as can be ascertained, no monaural pressings were ever made.” Well--it's the first one we've ever offered with the original MONO sleeve! The vinyl presents in stunning and pristine MINT condition. It shows no signs of every being played. The sleeve has many distresses and the lower right corner gone, perhaps as a cutout.
