About the Collection

This offering emanates from a large single owner collection of more than 3,000 45RPM singles, with only the smallest amount of duplication. While the singles date from the 1950s to the 1980s, the bulk of the artists and songs come from the 1970s. We are excited to offer these larger lots from the collection--but there were also many highlight singles from the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Derek and the Dominos, Buddy Holly, The Doors and Michael Jackson that are being offered separately as other lots in this auction. Among the singles in these larger lots, there were many jukebox copies--these are usually defined by small numbered stickers taped to the labels, as is the case on a number of these. That said, a great many of these examples are not stickered at all. The overall condition generally ranges from GD to VG+, with the occasional EX to NM unplayed copy. But some storage where is to be expected, regardless. Enjoy!
