Offered is a rarely seen 1973 (possibly LATE 1972) souvenir poster mounted on cardboard used to sell these "Blue Boy" posters at Elvis Presley concerts. The mounted versions of these promotional posters were used as sales displays at the souvenir booths that Colonel Parker set up at Elvis' concerts all through the 1970s. The "Blue Nail" jumpsuit which Elvis is wearing as he belts out a tune on this "All Star Shows" promotional poster beckons the comparison to Gainsborough's painting known as "Blue Boy," giving this promotional poster its moniker. The paper "Blue Boy" souvenir poster is harder to acquire than most. The piece measures 28 by 22 inches, and presents with mild edge and corner wear to the poster, and its heavy cardboard mounting, as well as a small area where the wall hanging hook is missing on the reverse. Excellent to Mint condition.
