Offered are four 35 mm "Ektachrome" color slides of Elvis Presley performing on November 7, 1971, at the Louisville, Kentucky Fair & Expo Center. Elvis can be seen wearing his "white fireworks" jumpsuit and cape, and the musicians are all in white outfits. Elvis only wore the jumpsuit once during his November 1971 tour. Elvis played to more than 18,000 fans at the single, matinee show. The period "Ektachrome Transparency" slide holders are date stamped "NOV 71A5", which means they were developed shortly after they were taken. Interestingly, the photos were taken by Chance Martin, a longtime cue-card man, stage manager and close friend to Johnny Cash. Martin was Johnny's "right hand man" for many years, and his photographs of Cash are well-known. Each slide mount has "Elvis" written neatly on the border. Near Mint condition.
