Murphy played the character James (Jimmy) "Thunder" in the film, and he wears the jacket in a pivotal scene where he is choosing Jamie Fox's character to be his manager over his longtime associate, played by Danny Glover. The interior label reads "Custom Tailoring C & J / Made by MR. OH / North Hollywood" with the designers phone number.
