Offered are four Elvis Presley news service photographs from the 1960s and 1970s. Two of the photos capture Elvis at the famous 1970 Jaycees Ten Outstanding Young Men of America Awards in Memphis. One shows Elvis flanked by fellow honorees Ron Ziegler (Nixon''s Press Secretary) and Walter Humann (aerospace executive). Another shows Elvis in a familiar pose, making a donation at The Goodfellows Foundation headquarters in Memphis , Tennessee on December 16 , 1957, and the final photo was taken on March 22, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee, when Elvis Presley stepped out of the WHBQ radio station at the Hotel Chisca and was greeted by a sea of fans. The photographs all emanate from the archives of Memphis newspaper The Commercial Appeal, and bear paper''s back stampings. The photographs are second generation, though, made by taking a photo of an exisiting photo--a common practice in a working newsroom. Each measures 8x10 inches and present Near Mint condition overall with a couple having edge wear or small tears.
