Offered is a blue nylon scarf with Elvis Presley's facsimile signature which Elvis wore on stage and gave to a fan in the crowd during a concert in Asheville, North Carolina in July 1975. Elvis played three consecutive nights on July 22, 23 and 24 that year, and at one of these shows the grandfather of Angela Bradley caught one of the scarves that Elvis tossed into the crown. Her succinct signed note accompanies the scarf: "Grandparents were at the Asheville, NC concert when Elvis threw to crowd. Grandfather caught. Thanks, Angela Bradley."

For an Elvis Presley show attendee in the 1970s, there was nothing better than getting to sit close to the stage (or just rushing up there!) and having Elvis pull one of his signature scarves off of his sweat-stained neck and hand it to you. He did it dozens of times each night, for years on end, but the gesture never, ever lost its devastating impact on his fans. These scarves became treasured keepsakes, packed away safely, perhaps only brought out on special occasions to show uninitiated younger family members or children a piece of Elvis. Also accompanying is a letter from collector Bob Foley expressing his opinion that the scarf is authentic. Also included is a 3 1/2 inch diameter souvenir button bought at the Elvis concert in 1975. The scarf measures just under 34 x 34 inches and presents with some mild stains and three small burn holes, most likely from a cigarette in the crown that night in 1965. Excellent condition.
