The offered group of 12 photos was taken at The Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana, on June 7, 1975, for Elvis Presley's evening show. The photos appear to have been processed in a non-professional darkroom--they exhibit edge areas with a silver halide oxidation sheen from film processing chemicals. The lot preceding this one is a recording of this entire show, which was part of a tour that ran from May 30 to June 10, 1975, and saw Elvis play in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and ended at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee.

On the night captured in these photos, Elvis wore his “Chief” jumpsuit. He was in good form, based on the recording of the show, and these photographs show he was in good humor as well. Also included is a ticket stub for the show which measures 1 ¾ x 1 ½ inches and has the remnants of the “Night Show” stamping seen on these tickets. Eleven of the photos measure 5 x 7 inches, and one measures 8 x 10 inches. The large photo is the same image as one of the smaller photos. The back of that photo is marked “front cover,” so it's possible this group was intended for a publication. The backs of all the photos present with mild adhesive from album mounting that could easily be removed. Excellent to Mint condition.
