Ingemar Johanssen Signed Everlast Boxing Glove (BAS)

Offered is a boxing glove signed by former boxing champion Ingemar Johanssen. Johanssen crushed Floyd Patterson in their first title bout, knocking him down seven times in the third round before the referee stopped it. He was the only winner of the Hickok Belt born outside the United States and was also Sports Illustrated's "Sportsman of the Year". The Swedish boxer was nicknamed "The Hammer of Thor," which we suppose was easier to pronounce than "Mjolnir". Accompanied by a COA from Beckett Authentic. The glove presents in Near Mint condition.
