Offered is a 1948 handwritten and signed letter by comedian Jimmy Durante on his pictorial "Jimmy Durante Music Publishing Company, Inc." letterhead. The letter is a touching note to a young fan who has spent time in the hospital with an illness. Durante's career spanned many decades, stretching from vaudeville to radio and from film to television. Accompanied by a COA from Beckett Authentication. The letter measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches and presents with moderate wear and extra fold lines with mild separation along them. Excellent condition, with the envelope lesser.
