Offered are two Jimmy Webb Signed Lyric Sheets for his notable songs "MacArthur Park" and "Highwayman".
The 8 1/2 x 5 inch sheets of Webb's stationary are dated "12-25-92" and feature each song's key musical bars and lyrics handwritten by Webb, along with his large signature. "MacArthur Park" was a hit first by actor Richard Harris, and then for Waylon Jennings, earning him a Grammy, and Donna Summer, earning her her first Grammy nomination. In 1985, the song "Highwayman" became the inspiration for the naming of the supergroup "The Highwaymen," which featured Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson.
