The offered pairs of cuff links were owned by Elvis Presley and gifted by Elvis to his bodyguard Dave Hebler. Hebler worked for Elvis for four years in the 1970s, and he was the recipient of many items from Elvis, not unlike many of the people in his inner circle. The cuff links presented here were part of a group of three sets Elvis had given Dave on one occassion, which he details in his accompany letter.

My name is Dave Hebler, and for a number of years I was Elvis Presley's personal bodyguard. One day, as he often did, Elvis just gave me a handful of jewelry. This consisted of 3 sets of cuff links. One set was an ornate peridot green, the 2nd set was a squared bright blue and the 3rd set was a tiger eye stones with foldover strap.

The letter is a copy--the original was included when one set was sold separately. The ornate, costume jewelry cuff links were a favorite of Elvis' in the 1970s--he owned many pairs. While Mr. Hebler described the stones as "peridot" and "tiger eye" they are in fact glass. The "tiger eye" cuff links faces measure 7/8 x 3/4 inches and the green stone faces measure 3/4  x 3/4 inches. The stem on one of the green cuff links has been repaired. Excellent condition overall.
