Offered is a Perfect Replica of the "jumpsuit" Boxing Robe Elvis Presley Presented to Muhammad Ali in 1973. The suit has been meticulously recreated by the wizards at "B & K Enterprises" who hold the keys to the kingdom when it comes to Elvis' jumpsuit creations that originally came from "IC Costume"--they work from the original designs.

On February 14, 1973, Elvis presented Muhammad Ali with boxing robe emblazoned with the words "People's Choice" on the back in rhinestones and jewels--the robe was a dead ringer for his patented jumpsuits. The phrase on the back was a mistake--Ali was known as the "The Peoples Champion". Elvis was upset about the mistake, but it was too late. Ali thanked Elvis for the robe then went directly to the Las Vegas Convention Center for his fight that night against Joe Bugner where he wore Elvis' robe for the first time (see photos at right). The Champ wore the robe a second time, entering the ring on March 31, 1974, at the Sports Arena in San Diego California, for his first fight with Ken Norton. Ali lost the fight--only the second professional fight he had ever lost--and never again wore the robe considering it bad luck.

The large, heavy robe presents in stunning Near Mint to Mint condition.
