Offered is an envelope from the screen actors union AFTRA addressed to Elvis Presley and postmarked July 18, 1977, less than two months before his passing. Elvis' hadn't worked on a movie since his concert films of the early 1970s, but he would have maintained his membership in AFTRA for any television appearances, such as the CBS TV special that had been filmed just before the date on this envelope. The standard envelope measures 9 ½ x 4 ¼ inches and presents with expected wear from opening. Excellent condition.
