An 8" x 14" meticulously prepared, beautifully handwritten account of the careful and very bloody attendance of a Medical Doctor to members of a family that most likely included many women slaves. A superb document in the hand of this early American physician who listed the dates for each of his visits, the name of each person he treated, the various treatments he administered including many, many bleedings, the concoctions he dispensed and the cost per visit. It would have been amazing if any blood remained in the individuals he bled so frequently in this family! An amazing chronicle of medical treatment in early America!
